Dr. Phil Wong is the Chief Executive Officer at Gateways Hospital & Mental Health Center in Los Angeles, in which he oversees acute care and outpatient clinics, ancillary and support services

He started his collegiate career at the University of Irvine attaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, and later attended John F. Kennedy University where he completed his Doctorate in Psychology. In 2002 he started at Gateways as a Forensic Therapist, and shortly after progressed to Clinical Supervisor, Director of Quality Improvement/Risk Management, Chief Operations Officer, and eventually head of Gateway’s organization as its Chief Executive Officer.

Dr. Wong has remained extremely dedicated to his work, and continues to work hard in providing the type of mental health resources that underserved populations lack.
